This is an open-source short video Creator That's right We built a short Video creator with our very own MCP Server No API costs no paid SAS 100% Free Just put in a text prompt and Automatically generate video with voice Captions and music with this MCP server And N Creating faceless shorts for Social media has never been this easy Let me show you how we did it This is AI Agency to Z In this workflow we are using popular Posts from Reddit We are using the Subreddit called jokes and we are taking The best jokes from the Week As you can see we are mapping the Fields and we are extracting the title And the content Snippet Then we aggregate them into one Single Object Then we are using an AI agent to Create the video for us So this is the Core of this whole workflow First we Have the prompt and inside the prompt we Are passing in the title and the content Snippet and we ask the AI to generate a Video for us Once the video is ready Pass the video ID back to us as well as A title of the video it created So Behind the scenes we do have a tool that It's using This is the MCP server we've Built As a configuration we need to set Up the URL Since we are running an Eton In Docker it's

Host docker.in internal and then the Port the server is running on The server Is not running So let's start it This is The easiest way to run the project Make Sure you add your Pexus API key and run Npx short video maker I also have the Log level as debug because that shows The video rendering process Once we Install the packages the server will Start As you can see the MCP and API Server is running So let's go back to Nathan You can see that we are using the Selected tool called create short video There are two tools defined in the MCP Server However since we are going to Manually check the status of the video We don't need to expose that to the AI Agent Then we have a loop where we Manually check whether the video was Created every 5 seconds Since the agent Doesn't understand the concept of Waiting and we cannot really expose a Wait tool for the agent we need to Handle this process manually We are Using the rest API that is also Available with this tool that we have Created As a last step we download the Binary the video itself after it was Created And then we upload it to YouTube Using the title that was generated by The AI agent as well as the video Itself Let's run this workflow and Generate a video Now for demo purposes We're hard- coding a joke for the agent
